Production process of AAC block plant

AAC block machines are advanced systems that produce lightweight, durable, high thermal insulation and eco-friendly blocks for construction. Zihan Tech is the sole provider of DONGYUE AAC block and panel production lines in Bangladesh. We are providing turn-key solution for AAC Block and Panel manufacturing through the following process:

  • Raw material preparation: The process starts by gathering materials like sand/fly ash, cement, lime, gypsum, and aluminum powder.
  • Batching automation: Automated systems measure and combine materials accurately. This reduces errors and ensures high-quality slurry for AAC block production.
  • Material grinding: Sand or fly ash is ground into a slurry using a wet ball mill. This creates a smooth base for the mixture.
  • Mixing materials: Mixing these raw materials proportionately ensures consistency, chemical reaction, dry density and strength in the final AAC blocks.
  • Pouring into molds: The slurry is poured into molds (These molds shape the mixture into the green cake form after pre-curing).
  • Pre-curing: The molds are placed in the pre-curing area/zone for 2-3 hours before being shaped and cut into various block sizes. The curing temperature is 40°C and it’s come from waste heat of the autoclave.
  • Demolding: The green cake is removed from the molds using a demolding hoist machine. This prepares it for the cutting stage.
  • Cutting blocks: The green cake is cut into precise block sizes using side cutting, horizontal cutting and vertical cutting machines. Wires or blades ensure accurate dimensions.
  • Steam curing: Blocks are cured at high temperature (180-204°C) and steam pressure by using an autoclave for 8-12 hours. This makes them lightweight and higher in strength. The steam curing process of AAC block can be fully automatic and semi-automatic based on investment budget.
  • Packaging and delivery: After separating by the separator machine it goes to packing section. This prevents damage during shipping to construction sites. The packing system of AAC block can be also fully automatic and semi-automatic based on the investment budget.
